September
Sep
I love September, don’t you? The days are warm and typically sunny. The nights are cool and pleasant. It’s a wonderful time to be outdoors – so spend as much time outside as you can and enjoy every second!
August
Aug
August snuck onto the scene today – with the promise of heat and humidity to share. August is just one of those months we must simply survive. Be grateful for air conditioning, enjoy the numerous state fairs around the country and eat lots of ice cream!
July
Jul
July is here – summer at its finest! Parades, fireworks and patriotism. I always think of the month of July with pictures in my mind of small town living, Mayberry style. So….Wherever you live, whatever you do – enjoy the long days of summer, eat watermelon and drink lemonade (although not necessarily at the same time!) and give thanks for our free nation and the brave men and women, both home and abroad, who alter their lives so we can live ours freely.
June
Jun
Happy June everyone! Did you know June is National Dairy month? As a dairy farmer’s daughter, I am proud of my family’s farming heritage and grateful for the upbringing I had which taught me a solid work ethic. Living in the country is about living your values, living simply and loving all nature around you. Enjoy this month to the fullest and remember…..drink milk!!
May
May
Oh, the wonderful month of May! Bright sunshine, blue skies, gorgeous green grass, pretty flowers, new baby chicks – it’s a wonderful time of the year. Take a little time out of your busy schedule each day to enjoy something beautiful.
April
Apr
April – what a beautiful month! Blue skies, emerald green grass, sunny yellow daffodils, birds singing….it’s wonderful!! Spring is a time of new beginnings. Let’s all choose some new things to do and tackle them with enthusiasm and lots of smiles. Happy Spring!!
March
Mar
The winds of March have arrived! To me the winds symbolize the blowing out of winter weather and the blowing in of spring air. February was a long month for most of us due to the weather. Hope you were able to get lots of good stitching time in as you waited for the end of the snowy days. I always enjoy starting new creations this time of year. A new cross-stitch or canvaswork pattern or maybe a new quilt or wallhanging. Choose one from our great selection and create along with me!
Feb
February – what a great month to stay indoors and read, quilt, stitch, etc. Lots of new stuff coming to the website all month, so check back often. Love to hear from everyone, so keep those emails and blog responses coming!
