Linda Mays is a registered nurse with 2 daughters and 3 grandchildren.  She began sewing at age twelve when she broke her leg and needed something to keep herself occupied.  She continued to sew and by the time her daughters were ready to go to the prom, she had not only made their prom dresses, but twelve of their friends’ dresses as well.  Linda’s sewing eventually branched out into various handcrafts, including quilted tote bags and hand sewn dolls (stay tuned for some of Linda’s dolls to be offered on this website).  She recently made a librarian doll which was purchased by the local library for display.  About 5 years ago, Linda began making jewelry.  Her original designs have been sold across the country and each is a one-of-a kind work of art.
