Chris Morgan is a native of Kentucky who began whittling on sticks at the age of 3 when visiting his grandparent’s house. By age 11, he was carving people, dogs, pigs and bears. Throughout his 20’s and 30’s, Chris began making furniture using modern tools, however, he eventually focused his interests on traditional wood working such as making dough bowls, chairs and rustic furniture. Several years ago he learned to hand tie shaker style brooms. Chris exhibits and sells his brooms in several regional craft shows throughout the year.
